NRSWA CRT Transfer 2016

CRTs Transferred: 6,435 tonnes CO2

Since its inception, the NRSWA has operated under three guiding principles:

To protect environmental resources - to pursue innovative technologies and methodologies to reduce waste, maximize the use of landfill space, and maintain reasonable solid waste disposal costs for its member counties - to educate the public about being responsible stewards of our resources.

To achieve the goal of a sustainable UF, the UF Office of Sustainability brought together stakeholders from across the campus to develop knowledge, acquire skills, and initiate practices among faculty, students and staff, that contribute to a sustainable, high quality of life on campus, in the state of Florida and across the globe.
